Republican Scientific-Practical Center of Hygiene carries out training of candidates for the degrees of Master and Doctor of Sciences. The period of postgraduate off-site training shall be 3 years, in-service training - 4 years, doctoral studies shall be 3 years. The citizens of the Republic of Belarus having higher education and generally 2-year practical experience in the specialty chosen shall be admitted.


Applications for the admission for postgraduate education shall be submitted with the following documents attached:
  • personnel record card, autobiography and three photos of 4?6 cm;
  • list and copies of scientific publications, inventions, patents and the list of reports on the research and development carried out: persons who do not have any scientific publications, inventions or patents shall submit scientific reports (abstracts) on the topic chosen in accordance with the specialty;
  • extract from the Minutes of the Board meeting (of the faculty) of the higher educational institution for the persons recommended to be admitted for the postgraduate education right after graduation from higher educational institutions;
  • copies of the diploma of higher education and extracts from academic records;
  • extract from the work record book (for persons being employed);
  • copies of the documents on qualifying examinations for the Candidate degree (in case the intending students have the qualifying examinations for the Candidate degree passed).
Republican Scientific-Practical Center of Hygiene carries out the in-service training of specialists within the structural subdivisions of the center.

Within the framework of the contracts on the scientific and technological cooperation the classes for the students of the International State Environmental University in the name of A.D. Sakharov and Belorusian State Medical University are given.

There is a center for training, retraining and advanced vocational training of the personnel of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
